What does moisture management mean on my cooler?
This means we have a treatment in the fabric that wicks moisture away from the horse’s body faster than the material alone. This treatment is bonded to the fabric and is very durable. Coolers should be washed following our washing instructions to ensure longevity of the moisture management.
What does wither padding do: make the horse more comfortable, or does it just add extra bulk, which adds extra pressure, making the horse more uncomfortable?
Wither padding is used to ease pressure on the withers. The padding is designed to lift the blanket up to ease rubbing and tension on the wither and mane area. Horseware Ireland blankets that utilize a wither pad are constructed with either fiberfill or lightweight foam to offer a lightweight padding to this area making the horse more comfortable.
