Hoods and Nekcs
Yes, you can order a replacement hood through your local retailer or online here. Simply advise them of the type and brand of blanket you have so they can be sure to supply you with the correct hood that will connect to your blanket. If your blanket has no connections for a hood, then unfortunately you cannot join on a hood with such a style.
Follow the hood size guidelines, for example blanket size 72″/75″ is a Medium size hood, size 78″/81″ is a Large size hood.

The use of a neck cover can depend on the style of horse, their physical condition and the environment they live in.
If the weather is mild with warm days and nights, the use of a neck cover may not be necessary if the horse is good at keeping their condition.
However, as external temperatures drop and rain (precipitation) increases, regardless of clip style, a neck cover will offer coverage from rain, keeping them dry and decreasing their chances of being affected by issues such as rain scald. Equal covering of the neck, which houses important muscle groups of the horse, keeps this area at a consistent temperature with the rest of their body. The use of a neck cover will also help prolong the clip of your horse.
Choosing between an all in one blanket and a detachable neck cover can depend on the environment your horse lives in (weather, stabling/grazing conditions) and their physical shape and condition. Each style offers different benefits to the horse wearing it.
All-In-One has a seamless all-in-one design for maximum security and comfort offering an even distribution of fill from ears to tail.
Hoods offer the user the freedom to change or remove the hood depending on the requirements of their horse. They can be removed to reflect weather conditions or can be changed depending on the weight of fill required for a given time or season.
